MyP2PCoach was started to provide individuals with one-on-one advice on professional networking and their use of social media capabilities to improve their exposure and recognition in the marketplace.
My
Career
I am a Director in KPMG's Advisory Services practice with Global Account Relationship responsibilities within the Life Sciences Industry.
I
have over 35 years experience in the information technology industry with the
last twenty-five years dedicated to providing technology advisory services and
solutions to Fortune 500 corporations within the United States.
In
2009 I founded My P2P Coach to provide one-on-one consulting for individuals
who want to take their professional networking skills to the next level.
My P2P Coaching focuses on evaluating your current use of social media and
professional networking. Then together we develop a customized strategy,
which builds upon your existing network and also takes full advantage of social
networking techniques to help you build a strong reliable network.
Professional Networking
As
someone with business development responsibility, professional networking has
always been at the core of my success. I am an active member of several
professional networking organizations including the Society for
Information Management (SIM), Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group
(GPSEG), and The Princeton Executive Breakfast Group. You can learn more
about these organizations by following the link to my blog.
I
am also an early adopter of many of the social media offerings that are
available today such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Plaxo, Twitter, Blogging, etc.
On LinkedIn alone my social network exceeds over 15 million individuals.
To
see how I leverage Social Media to build a highly successful business and
professional network, I encourage you to visit my blog and follow the links to

Assisting
Individuals in Transition
Several
years ago, I started volunteering my time with several career transition
support groups in the New Jersey area. Today I am an active participant
in at least eight transition support groups. I attend these meetings on a
regular basis to offer my support, advice and professional networking
connections to individuals in transition.
My
experience with many of the individuals attending these meetings is that for
the most part, they have good career backgrounds, with marketable skills. Regretfully, while they were working hard for their employers, they spent
little or no time building their professional networks. In the end they found
themselves in a career transition with very few people who they could turn to
for advice and career connections.
As
a result of my involvement in these transition support groups, individuals
started to request one-on-one meetings with me to review their career
transition progress and to show them how they could implement a Social Media
strategy to build a stronger professional network.
MyP2PCoach
was started as a part-time fee based service to help individuals take their
professional networking to a whole new level.
My
Volunteer Work
In
addition to my professional networking, I volunteer my time with several
not-for-profit organizations including:
These organizations and others like them need outside expertise and advisory services to keep their organizations growing and serving the needs of the community and the individuals thy serve.
Through
the combination of my years of experience and my extensive professional network,
I am able to prove these organizations access to industry specialists and
business leaders who are in the position to support the needs of these
organizations. You can find out more about the organizations I support by checking out my Blog and following the links to their websites.
